Frontstage is an audience participation system that was built for interpretive flexibility among users.  The system consists of a Presenter Portal that is run on an iPad and an audience app that can be run on an iPhone or iPod.  The aim is to test the system in a wide variety of contexts to examine how users appropriate and interpret the device, and, by extension, their relationship to the presenter and the audience.  Frontstage is still in development, and this page will be updated regularly with new information.
